Baseball-reference.com lists Koehler as finishing his professional baseball career with the Tacoma Tigers of the Western International League. Koehler appeared in 191 contests for the Tigers during the 1941-42 seasons, hitting a combined .270 in 610 plate appearances.
Koehler played 12 games as an outfielder for the New York Giants in the National League during the 1925 season.
