At a gym on McNeil Island, two boxers spar as Jim Rondeau referees. Rondeau traveled the world refereeing boxing matches between some of the most famous people in the sport from the 1940s to the 1970s. His father was a pro fighter and he didn't want his son to fight. But he encouraged his son to referee and Jim refereed some of the biggest names of the sport, including George Foreman, Ken Norton, Boone Kirkman, Pat McMurtry, and Jerry Quarry.Lexicon
