Description

George Foreman, the world heavyweight champ in professional boxing, stands with Dick Sadler in a photo taken in Caracus, Venzuela, in 1974. Foreman, who was nicknamed “Big George,” was a two-time heavyweight champ and an Olympic gold medalist. He retired in 1997 at age 48 with a career of 76-5. Jim Rondeau of Tacoma refereed Foreman's championship fight with Ken Norton in Caracus in 1974. Sadler was Foreman's manager.
