In 1966, Rondeau was elected to the International Boxing Federation and was responsible for training and evaluating referees and judges. He held that position for 36 years and traveled the world, going to Athens, Greece, Buenos Aires, Puerto Rico, Jamaica and Hong Kong. Refereeing wasn't his primary job. He worked for Foss Launch and Tug, negotiating union contracts with the shipbuilders.Lexicon
