The 1941 Pacific Lutheran College's basketball team poses for a team photo after they won the Washington Intercollegiate Conference championship. Marv Harshman is third from the left in the front row wearing number 10. Harshman went on to a prominent career coaching and became one of the country's top coaches. He began his illustrious coaching career at Pacific Lutheran and went on to coach basketball at Washington State University and the University of Washington. In his 40-year coaching career, his teams won 642 games. Harshman coached at PLC from 1945 to 1958 before moving on to WSU and UW. Cliff Olson stands in the back row (to the left).
