Description

Gordon Rohrs, a graduate of the University of Puget Sound, was a member of the Tacoma Athletic Commission in the 1960s. Rohrs was a starting end for Lincoln High’s 1944 championship football team. He was a regular volunteer doing ringside work and judging at Tacoma’s annual Golden Gloves boxing event, the second longest-running Golden Gloves event in the United States.
