Scope and Content

Program of the 1976 Tacoma Twins with General Manager Stan Naccarato's picture on it with several of the awards which he received for the Tacoma Twins being the number 1 franchise in America. In 1975, Tacoma Twins General Manager Stan Naccarato was the Executive of the Year as named by "The Sporting News", he won the President's Trophy presented by The National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues, and he was awarded the Larry MacPhail Promotional Trophy, presented annually by Minor League Baseball (MiLB) to recognize the top promotion effort in the minor leagues. At that time, no one in the 77-year history of the national association had won all three major awards in one year. This recognition was emblematic of the Tacoma Twins being the #1 baseball franchise in America. The cover of a program from the 1976 season shows the awards won by Stan Naccarato during the previous season.
