Description

Songwriter Joe Jordan is at a piano with three unidentified women in the 1960s. Jordan wore an Indian headdress and the women had UGN on their sweaters and feather headbands. Jordan wrote "Go, Giants, Go" for the Tacoma Giants, the Triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. "Go, Giants, Go" made its debut at Cheney Stadium between games of a doubleheader in May 1963. The song was supported by Lincoln High School's 80-piece band and the 50 members of the male chorus. The crowd loved the song and an encore was performed.
