Description

Two boxers in the midst of locking up during a fight with Bremerton born referee Whitey Domstad watching on. Domstad was a referee and judge for the Washington State Athletic Commission from the 1940s to the 1970s. Domstad was elected Bremerton's mayor in 1955 and served the city until 1964. The city of Bremerton honored their native son by naming a local park the Whitey Domstad Park.
