In 1949, five bowlers from Tacoma pose for a photo taken in a pro bowling tournament at the American Bowling Congress Atlantic City. They were the Tacoma Elks Champions that year. They are from left to right Johnny Artoe, Earl Johnson, Ted Tadich, Primo Artoe and Urban Schmidt.
