In 1951, five bowlers from the Tacoma area competed in the American Bowling Congress tournament in St. Paul. Today the tournament is called the USBC Open Championships. The bowlers from left to right are Bill McClelland, Primo Artoe, Ted Tadich, Urban Schmidt and Johnny Artoe. It was a talented group of bowlers.
