Pictured is Cheney Studs #30, Al Maul. Maul would later become a terrific referee in Washington, often over seeing games where former Cheney Studs teammates were coaching one of the teams. The Cheney Studs ended up becoming a launching pad for many of the state of Washington's top referees and coaches.
