Description

Steve Largent accepts an award during an unidentified presentation in Tacoma. Largent played for the Seattle Seahawks from 1976-1989. During that time he became one of the most prolific wide receivers in NFL history and a Seahawk-fan favorite. Largent was a seven-time Pro Bowl selection a three-time first-team All-Pro, a four-time second-team All-Pro the 1988 NFL Man of the Year, a two-time NFL receiving yards leader (1979, 1985) and was named to the NFL’s 1980s All-Decade team. Largent was also inducted into the Seahawks Ring of Honor and his No. 80 was retired. He was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 1995 in his first year of eligibility and was ranked No. 46 on The Sporting News list of the 100 Greatest Football Players, the only Seahawk to make the list.
