Description

A collection of Shelburne Newsletters collected by the Deming family. As told to David Boucher: "Phyllis Deming started the newsletter because her husband Bill Deming was on the Shelburne Town Selectboard and Phyllis would hear about town business and thought that other citizens in town should know about that information." The Shelburne Newsletter over the years became so popular that it was printed on a larger format and became the Shelburne News. Also included is the sponsorship solicitation correspondence, some acceptance of sponsorship correspondence, Shelburne News anniversary issues for the 25th and 30th anniversary, and a set of seven photograph prints of Phyllis Demming and the Village Bookshop and Quiltsmith located in Shelburne Shopping Park.
