1829 the Village District school records start.
1830 District 13 built a brick school building on Levi Comstock land, location unknown.
1869 A private academy or high school was established, not supported by the town, location North of Excelcior Press building as indicated on 1869 map.
1866 Shelburne Village School is built for elementary and high school grades. This replaced the White Church which burned the year before.
1925 The Shelburne Village School burned to the ground.
1927 The brick Shelburne Village School opened for classes for elementary, 2 year then 4 year high school grades.
