Context

There are Lyon surnames who were born in Shelburne, Vermont from 1800-1813 which would make them some of the first settlers in Shelburne. Pamelia Lyon 1801-1857 was married in Shelburne to Nathaniel Thayer 3 Dec 1823. One of the pages has transcriptions of four letters from Shelburne dated 1836 and 1838.
