This publication. "Shelburne Village School" History is 104 pages long. On pages 1 -2, there is a written history of early Shelburne Schools, then about the Village School in particular. A pasted in addition to the history adds more detail. Pages 3 - 96 are pictures of presumably Shelburne Village School classes, their sports teams, the school building which changed over time. Page 97 is a picture of "Proclamation Shelburne School Reunion Day, July 28, 1979" followed by a picture of a tent, then various attending classes. There is no publication information, i.e. no author information or date of publication. We can probably safely assume that the 'reunion committee' created the document as a momento.
This document contains many photographs of the village school over time and also the many pupils that attended the school.
The Shelburne Historical Society has two copies, one of which [2023.00.43.2] has an inscription on the inside cover: "Donated to Shelburne School Archives, from Burt & Kathy Shangraw". There is also a copy of an email dated 6 December 2016 from Lisa Mann, Assistant Town Clerk, to Jeanette Marcotte Armell adding additional information about the document.
