Scope and Content

This binder was put together by the women who constructed a quilt to commemorate the Vermont Bicentennial in 1991. There are photographs of the women involved in the creation of the quilt as well as of the scenes that inspired the individual panels, the person who constructed the panel, a history of the subject represented in the panel, a timeline of the quilts creation and a press release dated 14 Nov 1994 that reports the quilt being installed at the Shelburne Town Offices.
