Description

Advertising calendar. Vertical format cardstock backing with attached polychrome lithographed image of painting of a pheasant family on the forest floor. Signed in lower right corner "August H_ [may be "a" or "o"] ll [name may not be complete]/ Printed under signature is "Litho in U.S.A. [logo] Co.". Below image is text block reading: "Fredrick's Shoes Ltd./ "Quality Shoes for the Family"/Phone 656-4724/2439 Beacon Ave. Sidney, B.C.". Vertical format stapled-on calendar pad for 1974 in the form of monthly tear-off sheets which include last month, next month, phases of the moon, birthstone and flower of the month. Each day has space for notes. Printed at bottom of backing is: "Telephone index under pad". Printed on backing is a grid for telephone numbers and at the bottom of this grid is: "Printed and Finished in Western Canada by Loder Collier Co. Ltd".
