Description

A pair of turned wood [birch ?] , two-part shoe trees [see General Note]. High instep and medium, rounded toe. Toe and instep one section, joined with pivoting metal bar to heel section which has turned, varnished handle. Stamped on instep: "3 1/2/ C". Stamped on heel section: "?ACKARD'S [ Packard's ]/Patented Mr 30 09. Toe/instep has large hole bored from instep face through to sole and heel section has smaller hole bored in bottom heel area. Trees are presently joined together with part of a nylon stocking.
