Watchmaker's steel balance wheel calipers .
The "C-shaped" jaws on either side are coarsely adjusted with the knurled thumb wheel on central vertical screw. Fine adjustment of the caliper points seems to be done with a small knurled screw at the bottom of the left opening and a similar screw at the top of the right opening. In upper area of tool stamped triangular logo with "Star" [?] inside and "Swiss" below and in bottom area "Junior". Reverse has "54" stamped near each opening. [May be reference to size of opening ?].
