White rectangular bolster case with all lace top and fine cotton back with narrow lace trim, open at both ends. Top is made from 3 different strips of lace. The widest pattern has been cut into 3 sections, the middle section cut to fit design, but end pieces are not of matching cut. Separating the middle section from the 2 end pieces are 1.75" lace insertion strips with slots for ribbon, if desired. Each end is finished with a 3/4" lace with picot edge which goes around entire case, being sewn together in middle of back. All sewing has been done by hand. Probably because of the large lace inserts, the top has a slightly convex appearance.Acquisition
