Spiral-bound paperback book: "Memoirs -- Women in War (1942-1947) (1952-1955)" Memoirs of the Vancouver Island Branch Overseas Club. compiled by Frances Martin Day. 234 pages of printed typescript, printed in Victoria, second edition 1991. Illustrated with photographs. Text consists of stories by members of the Canadian Red Cross who served mostly overseas. Covers are white cardboard; front cover has title and compiler in black with the Red Cross logo in centre in red. Handwritten in ink on the title page "Good luck Hilda with your projects --Frances Day"
