Description

Woven (rice-paper?) painting. Rectangular in shape. Hand painted using ink and brush. Shows two birds on the tree branch. Main colour (background) is yellowish gold (perhaps has been mounted on something that disturbed original colour). Border is darkish brown. Rice paper has peeled in areas and reveals black paper. Has been woven horizontally and diagonally together using strips. A small claendar has been attached to bottom 1/4 of strip. Says October, 1908 (previous pages are missing, were never included when recorded). A yellow bow has been attached to the top.
