Rectangular calendar for year 1970 from Local Butchers Limited, Sidney. Wall fold-out calendar with colored picture entitled: "Country Serenity", index is under picture, and printed in red under picture: "Local Butchers Limited--Hugh Hollingworth, Prop.--Quality Meats-Fish and Produce--Complete Home FreezerSupplies--Telephone 656-1822 or 656-1821--4th and Beacon, Sidney, B.C.". Cover is yellow, on thin cardboard, pages are white with black printing--16 pages altogether. Contains monthly calendar, cooking charts and recipes. Hole for hanging.
