b) Rectangular calling card holder. Made of silver "German Silver", [ a copper alloy of nickel and often, zinc] with floral embossed pattern on front of case, with blank area for engraving a monogram. Purple leather pocket for cards. Large-linked silver carrying chain. Small built-in compact inside [mirror missing]. Evidence of another fitting, probably a mirror.? a) 1911 calling card, found inside case.
