Description

Coal oil lantern made of enamelled black metal, clear glass globe with protruding attached red glass reflector [suggesting a railroad connection ??]. "BEACON" brand. Font marked with "GSW, with a coronet below" in a shield with a double concave top [trademark for General Steel Wares]. Thumbwheel also marked "GSW" in a circle Wire handle and wire hanger for hanging.
