Description

Pencil in a sterling silver case, one of a variety of attachments that could be included in a chatelaine. Two-part case/cap form a flat oblong with rounded ends. Both parts, both sides, have all-over repousse Art Nouveau-style design of a wishbone, a horseshoe and four-leaf clovers. Both sides stamped "STERLING". Cap contains a flat, dark blue pencil with "..STER/MADE IN/GERMANY" in white. Tiny loop on case end, to attach to chatelaine chain.
