Description

2006.003.001 Small, silver-plated cigarette or cigarillos case. Hinged convex front and concave back. Both surfaces have matching vertical machine guilloche bandings within a wide, plain border. Front has diamond cartouche with an engraved script “M”. Thumbpiece at centre back side edge, with offset finger rest on front side edge. Front interior has two opposing flanges in top area, for an elastic band to keep contents in place and similar in lower area on back interior [shadow residue of bands visible].
