Four tin cans with labeled as "SAANICH BRAND VERY TENDER BUTTER CLAMS" "These clams are already cooked and it is only necessary to bring them to a boiling heat and season to taste." "Net Meat Contents 8 oz." "Fancy Quality Canned Goods, SAANICH BRAND PACKED BY SAANICH CANNING CO. LIMITED. SIDNEY, B.C." Colours on label - red, yellow and pale blue-green. Label has been stuck onto stiff paper then put onto the can. Label depicts map of Peninsula. Only two cans are accounted for.
