Large, circular, heavy, moulded metal commemorative medal, (essentially the same as 009.042.002), with brass finish. Obverse has relief lettering and image in brass finish, against an antiqued brass background. Outer edge reads: "Eighth World Town Crier Championships 1999". Inner area has image of an unrolled scroll with "Sidney BC." on upper area and "Canada" on lower area. Central area has "8th" with a superimposed handbell". Scroll flanked either side with stylized flower spray. Reverse is bright brass lightly-textured finish. Integral hanging ring. Ribbon, half royal blue, half medium yellow has jump ring at bottom and is attached to medal with small brass clipAcquisition
