Modified circular silver-coloured metal commemorative medallion with integral hanging tab. A circular metal blank has been stamped with a stylized five-petalled rose, either Tudor or York. The petals have finely-stamped vertical lines and the stylized leaf between each petal protrudes into the circumference of the medallion, to change its profile from circular. Slightly-domed central applied resin element has black background with “HASTINGS TOWN CRIERS CHAMPIONSHIP” in gold around upper area of element and central line drawing of a male town crier in gold. Reverse has shiny finish and is engraved: “RAY GOODE/25 YRS/1971-1996”. Snaffle clip through hanging loop is attached to large jump ring, through which passes a strap of synthetic webbing in equal red-white-blue stripes.Acquisition
