Description

Brackman-Ker oat sack. From original card: "Fabric, probably cotton, printed with green and red, badly stained & yellowed. At one time stuck to paper & wallpaper backing. Printing on sack used to package grain & printing depicts illustration on the copper medal and a harvest scene with stacks of oats." Imprinted: "Brackman-Ker Mills, Trademark B & K registered, Extra Cream, rolled oats, Brackman-Ker Rolled Oats Milling Co., B.C. Hightest award B & K Rolled Oats, World's fair, Chicago, 18?3; Midwinter fair, San Francisco, 18??; Inter-State Fair, Tacoma, 1894 "7 lbs.'"
