Description

Institutional-sized wooden food stirring paddle, non commercially produced from one piece of heavy, fine-grained wood. Front and back surfaces natural coloured wood, side surfaces appear to have a dark brown stain. All edges gently rounded. Lower third of paddle area has been lightly bevelled, to made the tip slightly thinner. Proximal end of shaft handle rounded and drilled with hanging hole. Heavy wire hanger through a pair of holes below hanging hole. Distal shaft area shows an area of light indentations where paddle may have been hit against edge of vat.
