Lambrequin, intended to decorate a shelf or top of a dresser, made of natural cotton, similar to that used for flour sacks. Scalloped edges finished with pink commercial bias binding. Large, stamped and embroidered rose-and-daisy motif at either end of shelf section [viewer's right motif has parts unembroidered that are finished on the left motif], in red, pink, blue, green. Hanging area has five spaced star-flower motif embroidered in similar colours.Acquisition
