Manual cream and egg whip, consisting of a central metal rod ending with two circular, rotating, slotted metal plates. The lower plate has an integral tab handle. The upper plate is slightly concave. Both are attached to two rods that run parallel to the central rod and join onto a cogged gear. This gear is turned by means of a circular, perforated wheel with an attached round wooden handle. Wheel stamped “Whippit/Cream & Egg Whip/Pat. Pend./Manufactured by/Duro Metal Products Co./---/Chicago, Ill.”. Top of rod finished with elongated wooden handle with traces of white and green enamel.Acquisition
