A set of Tinkertoy components [not counted and not numbered] with instruction sheet, contained in a heavy cardboard mailing tube with metal top and bottom [marked "CANCO"]. The tube wrapper is printed in dark blue and red on white, with line drawings of various constrctions to be made with the components. "Tinkertoy" logos and mailing label. The instruction sheet is "Directions for Junior Tinkertoy", and is preinted in dark blue and red on white, showing several line drawings of machines. The packaging printing and illustrations are c. 1930. The components, consisting of green, red, yellow and natural rods, and natural spools, have not be counted and may be a mixture of original and later Tinkertoy components. One spool has had a face drawn on in pencil. There is one "log", similar to a "Lincoln Log", included in the grouping and it is much newer than1930.Acquisition
