Moulded ceramic adult woman doll head and neckplace [no holes in neckplate for attaching to cloth body], c.1880's. Head in the style of a German doll with hand-painted, black, middle-parted, waved hair, fine black eyebrows, blue eyes, pink cheeks and lips. Underside of back neckplate has evidence of a black-painted ceramic mark, but back edge is chipped.Acquisition
