Description

Brocade bedspread for double bed. Dusty rose color, c. 1920. Elaborate machine stitched all-over floral design with twisted 3 1//2" fringe on three sides. Two labels at top right front. The smaller label says "Made in Italy--Hudson's Bay Company--Incorporated 2nd May 1670". Larger label says "18% Rayon. . .(illegible) N. Cotton". Rounded corners at bottom--straight top. 2024-01-24 - Heather Corbitt - a form of brocade called matelesse
