Fitted drafting set case, faux leather case [STAMPED "1500" on [viewer's] bottom left corner of flap, lined with acid green velvet generic “Made in Germany”, and sold by “Instruments Limited, Ottawa and Toronto”.
21 compartments for instruments and accessories; four empty.
From the back, left to right, there are:
1. pencil – Venus - Drawing - Made in Canada - 3H
2. cylindrical metal container with screw-top lid containing: 2 replacement [?] screw-in knobs for compasses or dividers; 1 “padlock-shaped” accessory; 3 long, thin screws; 1 “spike-headed” long, thin screw; 1 tiny, stubby screw; 1 tiny, stubby screw with hole through shaft at distal end; 2 small “pen-nib-shaped” accessories (similar shaped item locks screw of inking pen (5)); 1 flat, knurled disc with central hole; 3 flat-topped screws, all with knurled edges, one larger than remaining two; 2 flat discs, different sizes, each with central hole filled with “spike-headed screw”; 3 discs, different sizes, with upper face contoured, all with central hole filled with “spike-headed screw”; 1 disc with contoured upper face, with central hole filled with short screw which has a tiny hole at proximal end; 2 small cylinders with a tiny pin point at either end and a threaded hole laterally through the cylinder. (23 items).

4. interchangeable, long handle shaft for compass, with slot at distal end, cross-hatched shaft, knurled knob which unscrews to reveal compartment which contains three fine points [replacements for dividers or compass ?]
5. small inking pen with long, smooth cylindrical handle with deep groove cut just below top

7. small compass fitted with interchangeable inking pen accessory
8. interchangeable, larger inking pen accessory
9. interchangeable pencil point accessory (central area of case)
10. compass-like accessory – cylindrical shaft with knurled handle and knobbed pointed shaft which moves inside the cylinder. Attached to this shaft is an arm which is adjustable and can take other accessories
