Description

Large framed certificate from the International Order of Good Templars. "Grand Lodge of British Columbia", "dated " 26 January 1914", creating a "Juvenile Temple", to be known as "Strathcona Temple #24", Sidney, "County of Saanich". Printed form with figures representing "America" "Europe" "Africa" "Australia" and "Asia". Done in blacks and greys on a white (off white or discoloured) background. the certificate has two red seals in the lower right and left quadrants. One on the right LQ is attached. One at the left LQ is either stamped on or part of printed form. There are spaces for the names of various "Juvenile Temple" members in the central area. List of names - Nelson Fralick, Reggie Hicks, Margret Simister, Bertie McKillican, Mamie Logan, May Lopthien, Pearl Lopthien, John Lopthien, Ruby Lopthien, Victor Lopthien, Muriel Tester, Andrew Bowman, Willie Bowman, Muriel Hicks, Nancy Simister, George Gehrke, Grace Simister, Pattie Simister, Arthur North, Marie McKillican, Charles Reid.
