One of a pair of large, heavy metal ice tongs, short handle, circular shaped with pointed, sharp, arrow-shaped ends. Manufactured by Gifford-Wood Co., Hudson, N.Y. U.S.A. It has been painted red, but most of the paint has worn off. On one blade, #542-16 in.
