Description

Small, ironstone ceramic, oval dish with sides tapering to base. Made specifically as hotel ware, to be used to present an individual serving of food. White glazed, with black line decoration around rim and ochre line a few centimetres below. Backstamp reads: "[King's crown]/GRINDLEY HOTEL WARE/ENGLAND/VITRIFIED//CASSIDY'S LTD/MONTREAL, VANCOUVER,/TORONTO, WINNIPEG".
