Description

Liquid fuel [white gas] iron; shiny metal soleplate, black-enamelled, vented sides housing interior heating mechanism [one side has extension of one vent, for lighting of pilot light ?], brushed, silver-coloured top plate with perforation vents, stamped "COLEMAN/INSTANT-LITE/MODEL 609A/Made In/Canada". Top plate extends to form base for metal liquid fuel reservoir and its black bakelite control knob. Wire loop handle below and to one side of handle, for pilot light. Black bakelite and metal handle.
