Wooden trying plane of unknown hardwood, with cast steel double cutting iron, has a closed handle. See 976..518 cat card for information regarding name and length of this type of plane. The plane is stamped on stock and wedge with owner's name "B. Sellars", makers name also appears on the stock and makers name only on the iron.
