Description

Toy or decoration, much reduced from life sized, in the form of a semi-circular basket made of rush or reed in a twined technique and sewn with synthetic sinew, with bail handle, containing two kittens, probably made of rabbit fur . One is white with a butterscotch stripe, applied pink nose and light brown eyes. The other is white with a black stripe, applied pink nose and green eyes. Both have had the fur mounted over a hard form. May be rabbit fur.
