Ayrshire whitework vestee in fine white cotton fabric. Hand Embroidered with white embroidery thread with a floral design of daisy and leaves. Some cutwork embroidery techniques. Flower centers have intricate geometric centers.
Entire neck edge has ruffle with picot scalloped edge. Right side of centre front is double thickness of fabric, left side has ruffle down it to bottom. Ruffle area embroidered with a leaf design. Hemming of fabric edges hand done.Acquisition
