Silk handkerchief, very fine white silk embroidered with an oriental type motif and recorded as Chinese Scalloped edges are bound with very pale blue embroidery silk in blanket stitch.
Motifs embroidered depict flowers, leaves, butterflies and a crane in white, pink, greens, black and purple. Embroidery may be machine done, all larger filled areas are stitched in satin stitch.Acquisition
