Description

Black, high-heeled evening shoes made of very fine black rayon faille, with ankle strap, linking by strap over the arch of foot to interwoven decorative straps across front. The straps are lined with beige leather which shows very slightly on one side of strap, produced the effect that every strap is edged with gold. Beige cotton twill insole and counter lining. (Made in Czechoslovakia. Size 8 1/2). [Jones, I. 20221130 This latter information cannot be substantiated by the artifact but is listed in the Accession Book.]
