A long, squat metal cylinder with a lid (hinged) in the rear and with words "Best Device Co Cleveland O" on the lid. It stands on four feet and has five holes on either side near the top. An electric plug-in cord is attached to it. Lantern was originally black and is now rusty. Inside raised read end is large light bulb. 2 transparencies are on slide rail.
